Four Flies on Rare Argento

Out today, the most sought after Argento release. "Four Flies" was rumored to be in limbo because Dario did not own the rights to the film. However, several import dvds were recently made available. This official US release gives the new MYA label instant status with collectors. Read about it here: http://www.dvddrive-in.com/reviews/e-h/fourfliesongryvelvet7172.htm

An Angel for Satan/The Long Hair of Death

Out today, a great Barbara Steele double feature. "An Angel for Satan" has been very obscure for collectors as where "The Long Hair of Death" is floating around on dvd. It was poorly released on an indie dvd label a few years back. My bootleg copy was better than their edition and my audio track was not out of sync. Yes, the audio track was off and they still released it. Rather than waste time writing my own review or to unknowingly plagiarize the well written review of George Reis, whom I pretty much agree with word for word ALWAYS, here is a link to the review on his site for this dvd.

Welcome to the Castle!

Who knows how much I will be posting since I am still posting on Facebook. Be patient because this project has a lot of potential once I get it going!

Welcome to Monster Chiller Horror Theater

The weather is horrible, the bridge or road is out, your car can't be repaired till tomorrow, why not stay the night, I insist. Famous last words in many genre films. I guess this should be a blog about films with that dialog. Instead, you will find my comments and coverage of the more rare horror films. The name is indeed an homage to all of the local Saturday night horror hosted shows we grew up watching. There is no denying the URL address of the blog being an homage to Count Floyd's SCTV segment. This blog is not dedicated to fan worship of Monster Chiller Horror Theater from SCTV. This blog is not meant to infringe on any copyright or trademark. I will use images and links from others sites, and in most cases give credit, otherwise I assume most pictures are public domain if found on the Internet. I use this images and links to tell my story and in most cases give praise to the work. Don't write me and say I ripped you off or stole from your site. Feel honored if I do. So, stay the night, if your dare and let's tell stories about the films that thrill us.
